Our Story
When Los Angeles shut down schools and businesses in March 2020 because of COVID-19, it was clear that low-income and immigrant families would be the most vulnerable to both the severe health impacts and economic devastation brought on by the pandemic. Three Los Angeles leaders came together to launch One Family LA as a direct relief initiative to support families most economically impacted by the pandemic.

Within 48 hours, over 20 community organizations heeded the call to launch One Family LA.
100% of Funds Go To Families
As the fiscal sponsor of One Family LA, GPSN collects donations and ensures funds are distributed directly to families. 100% of funds go to families. All partner organizations, including GSPN, are donating their time and capacity to this effort. As of May 1 2021, any funds donated to One Family LA will be redirected to the LA Education Recovery Fund, our new initiative to support the educational recovery of Los Angeles children.
