Immigrant and low-income families are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.

Our most vulnerable Los Angeles families are struggling with a variety of financial, physical, mental and emotional consequences of the pandemic. In January 2021, Los Angeles was the epicenter of the Covid-19 outbreak in the world with 1 in 5 Angelenos testing positive. For almost a year,  Los Angeles had the highest shelter-at-home restrictions, which kept campuses closed and most industries shuttered.
